All the bulkhead braces and their bolts I have are painted the same as the color as the car.
Everytime I updump a bucket of bolts I think of you..

every car had shims between the braces and the bulkhead so i would say the braces had to be installed prior to paint. otherwise the braces would be loose and the body might not have been aligned right. that would mean the bolts were painted.
