Tail lights S2. Bulb combinations

Upper bulb : running lights and brake or running lights and turn or brake / or turn only?

Lower Bulb: Same question

Basically, What go where?

Thanks again

The upper lens should be direction indicators.

The lower lens is the dual filament brake/tail lights

People often seem to get this wrong and put them in upside down... For those who dont agree with the indicator at top... Look at the manual... And.... The reflector in the middle is angled to account for the rake of the fin.. If mounted the other way the reflector wont align to drivers behind. ;)

I agree with Michael's points - It just seems like I want the brake light on top! Well, until I got the amber turn signal lenses.

That is an interesting point, Michael. Is there a similar issue with SIV and SV cars? I have always put my brake lights on top deliberately, figuring they might be a bit more noticeable there. But, if the lens is angled at all, that could be defeating the intent.

The brake should be at the bottom on the SIV/V as well but the reversing of that order is fine on later cars as the reflector is angled to be straight per the bodywork.

Switching the brake to top can make sense for visibility to drivers behind.. Quite a few race guys do that.
