Barry or anyone..... Ok with the stock front calipers and a single piston 34mm caliper on the rear what bore master would be ball park. Dual circuit M/C, stock diameter rotors onthe front, not sure ont eh rear but we are talking one of Dale's rear disc brake kits, I just do not know the diameter of the rotors he uses. This is for a V8 car, Tiger more or less alloy heads so we have to estimate the weight. Oh and the car is going to run Dales front vented rotor kit that uses the stock calipers with a spacer. My gut tells me .700 or maybe .750 would be about right and a 1 inch M/C would give a hard pedal. Thoughts?

Jim, use the front brakes to determine the MC size. As the caliper are stock, I think you are right about .700" -.750" MC bore. Front/rear brake balance is independant of MC size. If the rear brakes are too aggressive (they probably will be), use a proportioning valve.

Jim,

You might want to talk to the tech engineers at Tilton. I have spoken with them several times about my brake problems, and they will give you the information you are looking for.

Jose:)
