Donation Time
Well I'm just about ready. Sweet Pea has new (well almost) gas tanks, cleaned and sealed, new hose for the tanks and vent. Had one leak, but I missed one clamp and after tightening, we're good to go. As always, while under the car installing the tanks a week ago I noticed fluid on the right rear wheel. Yep....wheel cylinder. Ordered a pair and Rick from SS sent them pronto. Changed them out tonight and believe that does it.
Weather looks good in N'ville. I have a old buddy riding with me to the show (he may not be a buddy after 10 + hours in an Alpine..
) We'll see. The way I look at it, I drove 12 to get to Tipp City, so this should be a cake walk.
Hope to hook up with Stephen somewhere near Ashville Thursday and caravan to the hotel by 5 PM at the latest.
