I have just gotten my engine from the machine shop and informed the bore had to go .040to get clean walls. Does this have any significant implications for things such as valves, cam, timing, carburation, etc.I want to keep things stock as possible. Your comments/rec. appreciated.
Jose, I checked the timing cover for my engine and the #'s started w/ 83.Makes me wonder about the competence of this shop/employees.
I will have a new set of stock pistons for sale soon. Anyone looking for a deal?
They came w/ the engine when I bought it.
