Engine assembly--yet another helpful hint

Make sure the woodruff key is fully seated in the slot in the end of the crankshaft before you put on the front cover and oil pan. Once you get these on, there's no way to seat the key. This I just learned when I tried to get the harmonic balancer/hub to go in. The key was loose and fell out behind the crankshaft timing gear. Nothing to do but pull the oil pan and cover. Duh.
