Can anyone tell me what is the difference between the SI-III Alpine front valances, and later models?

the series 5 front valance had the brackets for the oil cooler. series 4 & 5 also should have a hole for the bracket holding the bottom of the center grill piece. you can adapt one to any series regardless of series.

Thanks for your response; I could'nt see an obvious difference, and that explains it. Much appreciated!

somewhere in the late series 5/ tiger production the tube for the hand crank was dropped. a strap was run from the flat grill area to the bottom of the valance. they also opened up the curve in the wheel area to prevent tires from contacting the valance on tight turns. you could call these cosmetic changes. the opening in the wheel area needs to be done to most cars to allow for larger tires and wheels such as fitting 14" instead of 13".
