Junkman, I can't really believe you are selling or OFFering for SAle that beautiful Alpine at $15K, if I am reading your POST Correctly!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am restoring an early Series IV GT and the cost for metaal repairs are near your asking price, then the paint, then the xxxxx, shall I keep going?

Well Dan I bought the car to fix it and flip it. I'm certainly not going to retire off selling it. This is a nicely restored car that will make the new owner proud to own and show. Always keeping in mind " there's a reason they come with a tool kit". I will be selling my other cars as time moves on, maybe you want to get one already done.

I now am the owner of seven Alpines (all are SIV & V's)

These should be enough for all of the Grandkids.

Still, I like to see a very nice Alpine on the road and that beauty will be something the new owner should be proud of and I sure hope He / She keeps it that-a-way.

Looks like a nicely done job... I do note that a bunch of the weather strip's aren't installed around the screen and a pillar door drains.. you have them yet to be installed?

Also only GT I've seen where the dash is now a plastic one.. you've done a reverse ST conversion.. people always and the GT dash to an ST.. you went the other way.

Looks a great car for the money.

Those pics are from before I finished trimming it out. Now that I've learned how to post from my phone, I will get some updated shots. PO had installed the st dash and every thing worked so I left it. I will note that there is no headliner installed, although it does come with a brand new one. The car is a GT, a fairly early one at that.

Despite I never wanted a GT this is a very nice car at a reasonable price. One of my favourite colours too.
Would feel tempted if I already hadn't 6 Beams with some of them still requiring work ;-)

Don't think of it as a 6th sunbeam.. think of it as just a 7th car ;)

If you break down some cost for various components: the nice GT steering wheel is $500 or more, then the shroud around the steering column looks nice. A new one from Eric and Al is $300 to $350. All this adds up quickly, Plus a nice hard top is worth upwards to $3000 or more.

A grand buy in my opinion.
