2 months of driving

Just wanted to say, after two and a half years of rebuilding, I got the series V out of the garage and on the road for two months of great driving.
WHAT A HOOT. Anyway starter packed it in, so it's back in the garage. New top still to go on and lots of little things to finish, so looking forward now to next year.
All in all--- well worth it !

Just because the starter has packed it up, don't give up that easily. Quite often the problem is sticky brushes. Give the starter a couple of good whacks with something about the size and weight of a crank. That was the medicine I used 40 years ago. Worked every time.
