Hi guys.

I am very close to purchasing a Bronco II in good condition with the 2.9 for 500$.

How much of it can I use on a 2.8 rebuild?

Can I use the dipstick, oil pan, oil pump pick up and oil filter adaptor?

I would doubt that you would get anything useful for the conversion, from that Bronco II, that would be worth $500. You could only use the oil filter adapter, as far as I can see. You might also be able to use the oil pan and dip stick too, but you could get those things at your local wrecking yard, for a lot less than $500.
