WTB: 1967 SV in Mediterranian Blue

Hello everyone,

I am new here, and have a specific purpose for being here. I am trying to find a specific Alpine for my mother, who had one years ago, and is now looking to find the "same" car again. I will list below what she "insists" on and what is flexible.
The main reason that I chose to do this this way, is that I have alot of experience in automotive forums, and Ive always found the best way to find good vehicles, is directly from the enthusiasts that own them and love them. So with that said, and my appreciation tendered, here goes

1967 ( Year is a must for either Apline or Tiger ) SV Alpine
Mediterranian Blue preferred, but Im sure Commodore blue would work as well.
Manual Trans ( MUST )
Hardtop ( MUST )
Must have the Pentastar on the right lower fender
Would prefer either a restored or low mileage original car. This would be a pleasure sunny day weekend type vehicle ONLY, but reliability would be paramount.
Price would definately be flexible, but directly dependant on condition ( obviously ) so dont be afraid to throw out a 15-20k car if you know of one. Also, a Tiger might be considered if it were the right combo.

Thank you for your time, and I appreciate any and all leads you might be able to lend me in finding this car for my mom.

Dan,

Several of your "musts" like the pentstar etc would be cheap and easy to add to the right car. As for transmission.. they are basically all manuals and by 67 there was no auto option. Hardtop can be acquired seperatly i can think of 2 people on the board here with appropriate ones for sale.. one is even restored.

Regards to colur.. You could always spray a good car to be the right colour.. i notice you dont specify interior colour.. i would assume thats important as the car would have been fitted with the azure blue interior.

Finally.. your price bracket is not goginto ge you anywhere near a decent running tiger.

Danno? Is that you? Oh my dear lad!! You probably don't remember me, but I'm a very good friend of your mothers. Oh yes, we go way back. I'm sure she's told you all about me. As it turns out, you're mother and I have very similar tastes and if you would be so kind, as I've fallen on hard times....I would very much like:

A bit older than the one you're looking for, but I'll take real good care of it and I'm sure you'll be able to make a fair deal with the owner. :D;):p

Are you sure the year (and Series) is non negoatiable? You could look long and hard and not find a nicer car than the one Bill Atalla is selling: http://www.sunbeamalpine.org/forum/showthread.php?t=14009

Year and color are the most non negotiable things regrettably. Most everything else is up for consideration. I know its a longshot, and a very specific car. I actually just missed one on here by 2 weeks, so I do know that they are out there and exsist.

Bill's car is quite nice. I had already perused that one, but she is dead set on the above things.

Thanks!

Agreed on the addons. Im figuring that all of the 67's are going to have the Pentastar anyway. And Thanks for the info on the all manuals, I was not aware of that. And I have seen the hardtops on here for sale separately. So I also am aware that is a possibility.

Im thinking black is the interior color that I remember ( I was only 4 or 5 though.. hahaha ) but Im 99% sure on that.

And If the right combo Tiger comes along, Im sure that money could be found ;) If it were a 67 Mk2 in one of the nicer blues.... well that would be a hard one to walk away from.

Thanks for your input
