I would look at a different shifter, that one will work but does not have shift stops and the handle is fixed so if it is to far toward the rear of the car you are stuck with it. The Pro 5 and others have the shift stop and you bolt the handle to the shifter so you can monkey around a little with location.

Does anyone have an installation sheet for a Pro V shifter he could fax me? I have what I think is a Japanese clone, but there are no instructions.

I would say it is no big deal to make up your own. Some plate and a rod.Drill a couple of holes and thread the rod plus a biy of welding.Like Jim says the right one allows you to play around.Yes you can even reverse the rod so it leans forward or rearward. It can be shortened as well.Jose suggested to cut out apiece and weld it together.I would just cut and rethread the shaft.

Hi Sam! I just picked up my Pro 5 tonight. I haven't opened the box yet but will fax you a copy of whatever is there in the morning. I'd do it tonight but after driving 600 miles today I'm starting to fade!
