Vacuum specs

Air-pine is back home, a little wounded but no more oil or head gasket leaks.

Step One to "Recovery from Being Professionally Repaired" is to check everything.

To that end I am now a happy owner of a vacuum gauge and am trying to find factory specifications for vacuum at idle for a 1725 motor.

So far my books don't provide the information sought.

Does anyone have a reference, or a reliable figure from Alpine experience.

Your advice is very much appreciated.

I don't think vacuum readings are included in manufacturer's specs. I usually take readings at a fast idle - around 1300rpm. Be sure that you hook up the gauge to the maifold, not the carb. point.
