Cool car, except for the name: Dove! Why not give it a more tough or agressive name like falcon, hawk, etc.

Among wing shooters, the dove has a reputation has being a very agile flier. Not aggressive, but very difficult to bring down.

The Dove GTR4 was sold exclusively through the London Triumph Agent, L F Dove of Wimbledon, hence the name. Incidentally, the coachbuilder responsible for the conversion had also been involved with the Alpine Harrington.

I'll say it Jan....

It's not pronounced Dove like the bird... It's pronounced Doe-Vay. The e should have an enunciation mark above it.

Oh, I get it. There is a discount store in the USA, Target. Its not pronounced "Target" but "Tar-zhay". So you would shop at "Tar-zhay", which sounds classy instead of the harsh sounding, "Target".
