Any ideas on how to manage "topics" like you can manage threads?
What I'd like to do is exclude the "rants" topic from showing up when I click on "New Posts". I don't want to ignore those who post there, I just want to ignore the entire topic, as if it wasn't ever there. (Hint, hint...) I know you can subscribe to threads, but I don't want to go through thread by thread and subscribe to the 99 percent of the board I want to view. I want to exclude the 1% I don't want to view. I would be satisfied with "Subscribe to Topics" rather than individual threads. Sadly, "just ignore them" is not a good answer -- it's a car forum, not a political one, and I come here for car information, not political diatribes. I would like that topic to appear not to exist.

On edit: I did discover how to go through and, from within each forum, "subscribe" to that forum topic. I confirmed this subscription prior to exiting the page, but after going through them all (except for one!) I cannot discover how to do anything except "search within subscribed forums". I can't seem to display subscribed forums, show new posts in subscribed forums, etc. Perhaps I just don't see the magic button, as is so often the case.

On second edit: All "subscribing" does is send you an email whenever topics have new threads, or responses to existing threads. So, not the function needed.
