I think their memory is faded a bit on this. Long shifter says after spring of 65 and lack of lettering with square corners says probably MK1A and late summer or after of 65. Depending on unseen rust, not bad looking for the age.

Yes, the fact that they think the hardtop might not be an original top also says they are not quite sure of what they have.

Anyone in NJ been to see this car yet? One owner from new and very original it could be a great project but shame its been left outside in that field!

I hate to think what condition the floors and cruciform are in?:eek:
