Does anyone make a rear window seal that takes the trip? I have complete trip and I'd like to use it.

Short answer, no. The usual suppliers offer rear window seals but they dont accomoadate the stainless . Some have stuck it on afterwards with adhesive and some with small fasteners.

I would guess there would be a suitable profile that would take it from a rubber supplier, but you need a sample with the correct sectional profile.

The seal on my car accommodates a strip that closes the gap[compresses the seal against the window and hardtop edge] and that is available w/ a plastic chrome/stainless finish. It shows about 1/4" around the window .I think this was used a lot in 80's cars but has a tendency to peel w/ heat and age.
Does not show up well compared to the wider stainless trim. I think any good auto glass shop would have it available
