Ser3 tranny, came out of a ser3 with 52,000 miles new front and rear seals, NO SHIFT LEVER, sorry
I do have a crate which I will sell as part of shipping cost for $50

And when it had the shift lever where was reverse?

A true S3 trans is a non sync first with the close ratio.. The best of the non sync trans.

Bruce, unfortunately that is just a casting date to a part common to many rootes vehicles of the time.
If you really want to move this trans as an SIII, you are going to have to twist the input shaft (say 10 times and count the output shaft turns and fractional turns) on at least first gear.
Otherwise its just another non-sync trans that hardly anyone wants...
