resetting the windshield

I am reinstalling the windshield on my series V and am having problems getting the center to seat all the way down. Any advice from those that have done this? I replaced the dash pad prior to attempting the re-install.

Loosen up the end bolts , I think if you look at the quarter windows that will give an idea of the correct adjustment, if intalling a new seal be sure to notch it for the center bolt.
