Rear Leaf Springs Bushing Size ?

I just received new Rear Leaf Spring Bushing from Victoria British yesterday for my 1966 V Series Alpine and I was comparing them to the old Bushings. My original stock Bushing are approximately 2 ½ “long and the replacement Bushing Victoria British sent me are only 2†long (Part # 5-3205). The Bushing outer dimension and bolt size are correct; however they are just a ½ “shorter. These are the smaller Bushing used on the rear of the leaf Springs and shackles. The front larger Leaf Spring Bushing appears to be the correct size and length. I contacted Victoria British today and relayed my concerns about the shorter Bushings. I was told they didn’t have any tech staff available and they would get back to me in 72hours.
Has anyone run across this issue before or have they sent me Bushing for a Series 1 or 2? I’m assuming the Leaf Spring on my car is stock original and not aftermarket springs. Any comments to help me sort this out with Victoria British are welcomed and appreciated, as I wait for a phone call from their Technical Specialist. Thanks Tony

I wouldn't wait on the edge of your seat for a meaningful tech response from VB.

The larger bushing should have its hole off center and the VB probably isn't unless they've changed what they were shipping. The WSM shows the importance of the position of the through hole when installing.

In my experiences, VB has been good about returns. That is a good thing because some of their stuff isn't correct or the quality isn't near that of what you'd get from Sunbeam Specialties or Classic Sunbeam. I have gotten some ok stuff from VB too.
