raidator cap info needed

Hi Gang- I need a radiator cap for my series 3 Alpine. If I go to my local parts store, I know they won’t have Sunbeams listed. Anyone know what other cars use caps that will fit our cars? Thanks Ed

Ed, I have found that the way the part is looked up is important. If they go to the 'puter and look up Sunbeam Alpine, they get zip. If they look up listings of the mfg, say Stant, there is a possibility Sunbeam Alpine will be listed.

I had good luck by measuring the depth of the neck and asking for a 7 lb cap with that depth.

Ed - I don't have the information with me right now, but Sunbeams are listed in the Stant catalogue. I believe the part # is 10206.

Go to their online catalogue and check it out.
