Anybody thinking of heading down to Woodley Park for the Queen's English show? You can get more info here. I have been the last couple year, it is a great little show.

Stefan, My 67 is not close to being ready, but just thought I'd touch base with you. I'm in the Thousand Oaks area. I was reading your profile, and I also have been into the Muscle (GTO), and Mustangs, and old trucks most of my life. Now they're all gone, and I've turned my attention to an Alpine. (Go figure) I do get a little ribbing from my other car friends, but they just don't seem to understand the draw that these little cars have. And there are sure not too many cars out there that you can buy and fix up so inexpensively.

Give me a shout out sometime when you get a chance. Oh and thanks for the info about the QE show, maybe I'll use that as my target date next year.

Hey Jim,

From your profile pic, your Sunbeam looks nicer than my nasty old car looks. Is your car running right now? As the weather is getting nicer, it could be cool to head out for a drive one day. Let me know if you are up for it.

I know what you mean, I catch a ton of slack from my hot rod and custom buddies, they just don't get it. What can you do?

I got a flier for another British show in Santa Clarita the weekend of March 27th. If your car is running, or not, maybe think about heading up. I will post more specific info shortly.

Some good looking cars and a marvellous blue sky. Incidentally, how did an American Car Club get to be called "Queen's English"?
