I am cleaning my bonnet prop-rod of all the paint on it.What color should it be? My guess is the color of the car,am I right?

I would think so. Seen a few that have been chromed but not to my liking. Body colour is the way to go IMHO:D

Wern't the props primered in white? Unless you're really careful and even if you are the top end of the prop rod is going to eventually take a ding from the hole.
