Powergrip Radiator Hose clamps?

Its hard to imagine that something that seals like heat-shrink tubing could generate enough force to properly seal a radiator. Has anyone every used them? It seems like something that could be useful with the tight clearances in the V6 conversion, but it makes me nervous.

How many would think, "heat shrink, better grab the torch, WOW where did that fire come from"..... You'd certainly want to make sure that the radiator, thermostat, water pump and so on are all in great condition and won't need work in the near future. and buy extras just in case since they're one use only.
