It was way past time to get LC (Series V) out on the road again as she's been taking a back seat to the V6 project. Headed to the northeast Georgia mountains on Sunday morning, lots of mighty fine driving on the way to Clayton, GA. Late breakfast at the Rusty Bike Cafe, busy but not packed although the line when we left was getting longer. Drove on state roads most of the time including 197,284,254 255 and 76 traffic was very light to non existent in some areas. Great views and slightly cool breeze with partly cloudy skies made for fine driving in the Alpine.
If you're familiar with the Atlanta area, you know getting in and out of the sprawling suburbs is no easy or pleasant task, we did however, get off the road just in time.
