PCV SIV manifold Webber

OK, I have another question on this. Using a SIV manifold and Webber 32/36, and I need to connect the PCV. The original location for the PCV valve on the SIV manifold is just below the throttle shaft of the Webber so that's not a good place. There is another fitting hole just below the PCV fitting with a plug in it but I'm not sure I can find a PCV fitting that will fit these threads.

What have others done to add PCV to a SIV manifold with Webber 32/36?

Thanks ,

Tom

Hi Tom,

I would look for a fitting that would adapt the PCV you have, to the manifold hole you want to use. I believe that NAPA would be your best bet to find something.

Jose :)

Thanks, Jose. But I solved it by taking the booster intake from the SV manifold and inserting it into the threaded hole just under the normal PCV valve location on the SIV manifold. Then I inserted an in-line PCV valve that I got at a local Advance Auto Parts place (Purolator P/N PV679). The suction end matches the manifold fitting diameter and the other end matches the tappet cover fitting diameter. I placed the valve just above the fitting on the tappet side cover. The valve seems to work best with the suction side up so putting it near the tappet cover works best.
