Hey everyone, if you need a new key for your sunbeam you can have these guys send you a cut key or a blank if you need it. Mine is a perfect match only 40 years newer than car.

Great timing!

I received 2 blanks from this firm today, and had keys made, which work fine.

The blanks (R62DG) are by Orion, are silver colored, and are fairly small. The blanks have a round head.

The key that came with my S IV is an ancient Taylor key, brass, and smaller with a more triangular head.

I have been unable to find any Taylor key blanks.

The "original" Rootes keys are from a blank I have been unable to locate.

Whoever makes the blanks today, they can be difficult to locate. One side is smooth and not grooved, which must be out-of-the-ordinary today.
