How can you ask $129,000+ and have in your ad:

"possible one of the beat in the world" ?

I think he meant to say "possibly one of the best in the world"

No clock either. Paint's too shiney. But I'd take it in a heartbeat. Of course, when my wife found out, it would be my last heartbeat. (Or Scott, should that read 'heartbest'?)

But seriously, the stated reason for selling is lack of time to drive it. You just wonder what else the gentleman drives that makes this second choice. Ahh, but to each his own.

Not sure how many other cars he has.. but i know he has a quite highly modified MKI tiger that he uses too... so figure he enjoys the mod one more... as a side note.. think he is turning a bit of a profit on this one.. i believe it was bought about1.5-2 years ago for around the 90-95K mark.

Hi,

If he can get the money for the car, good on him. I did not realise he bought it for 90-95K (killer inflation now, plus luxury tax equals an extra 30K ;) ). The car is however very nice and its rarity should warrant the high price.

MkII Tiger

I noticed that the ad states the engine is 4200cc which equates to 260ci. A MK II should have a 289 shouldn't it?

It was a slip of the keys in the sellers part (I noticed that too). It is definitely a 289 in the MK II.
