I appreciate the input Bernd. It clarifies the rod weights (original vs Chevy).
It appears the Speedmaster rods below are the most exact match up and aligns with previous recommendations. While the spec sheet didn't give the weight of each rod it probably is in the known range of other similar rods (lighter than original). Cost is $414 for a set of six = $69 apiece. I will buy two sets that will give me three sets for Alpine engine builds. I appreciated when Dan (spmdr) had me lined up for a set off of Ebay a few months ago that would have worked. Alas, I was to busy on other projects to give it any dutiful reflection. I'll wait for any feedback before placing order.
