Its certainly nice, but unless you have the exact carb to carb spacing for the intake it was designed for, its not particularly useful.

Since Carl was involved, I have to assume that it was built for the TWM L-0077 sunbeam twin DCOE intake he once sold. If you can verify this, you may make mention of it, then perhaps you will sell it.

Intake manifold has MR 2020 stamped on casting. Replacement base plates are available from Coast Fabrication. Also I can supply dimensions if interested.

Thanks

Ive never seen that intake before.

Its not the L-0077 intake I figured it would be.

Hi

I need to clarify, my setup uses an intake manifold for a right hand drive application. Maybe the other manifolds Carl marketed were for left hand drive. The base plate for the filter I have is not new and is cracked, but useable. The distance in the centers of the two inside trumpet is approx 3.750". The distance of the solid base plate between the Webers is 1.794". New base plates are available from Coast Fabrication.

I am quite sure i have one of these manifolds, they wont work for LHD as they are almost straight and interfeer with the streering box IIRC. Even on RHD this manifold requires you to run short stacks as it brings the velocity stacks close to the inner wheel arch.

Yeah, without that exact manifold (or manifold spacing) only the filter would be useful. I'd keep it with that intake if I were you, it adds to its value and anyone who buys your setup is going to be disappointed if it doesnt fit their carbs.
