That's a real mosh-pit there, Mike. It has an early series brake booster, washer bottle mounting, oil filter, coil mounting and perhaps heater valve (?)... and yet a SV alternator, exhaust and carbs... in a seemingly SIV body. Very odd.

Hi,

The owner was probably that eager to get the engine swapped over, that they forgot to organise the different thermostat housing and hoses. Not the ideal setup and a real mix of parts, but should still work.

Regards, Robin.

I picked up a 4 that had been sitting for 18 years. Rubbers are shot, body good (so far). Has 1725 motor fitted with old oil filter, generator (but note on dash says its -ve earth.) no brake booster, early front round indicators, no overiders on bumpers. Was painted correct red, under that midnight blue, under that origional red. Now going back to bare metal.
