Jon Artz of Omaha NE has decided to sell his Super Snipe Estate. Here's what he has to say about it.
"It's a 1966 Humber Super Snipe Series V estate. I've owned it for about 12 years, the fellow I bought it from bought it at the estate sale of the original owner. He only had it a few weeks, and decided it wasn't what he wanted.
The car is quite solid with very little rust, and is a great runner. It's been garaged for almost the entire time I've owned it, and probably most of it's life. It was repainted by the original owner in a much lighter grey than the original dark grey. When I contacted the Post Vintage Humber Car Club in the UK, they said this is one of the last estates built, they were basically only building them to special order at that point in production as the big Humbers would be gone entirely by 1967.
I would rather see a Rootes enthusiast with this car rather than risk putting it on eBay, where it might wind up as a hot rod. Towards that end I'm not looking for a lot of money, but would like to get about $2000 for it. Feel free to ask any questions"
