Harrington question

I know nothing about Harrington's, except I like them, and am looking at the one on last years SAOCA calender. The rear window looks very much like the shape of my old Triumph GT6 hatch window. Are they the same? Not unusual for the British companies to do that.

Oh, nice article in Classic and Sports car comparing a Harrington, Dove and a custom MGB Berlinetta.

Looks similar but not the same. Had to learn it the hard way also since mine was missing. Found an original one so lent it for a limited repro run. For those interested Arnoud in Holland may still have one...

question

the Harrington hatch is fiberglass. isn't the GT 6 hatch made of steel? if you're talking about the black car I can tell you that back in the early 80's I ended up with the original hatch window from that car. it would not fit my red Harrington because it was too small for my hatch. we could not find rubber that would allow us to mount it. it seems that Harrington may have had a variance in the production of the hatch. I've always wondered why the difference in sizes.
