Glove box installation

I just purchased the walnut dash with glove box door as well as the cubby box. How does this install? does it screw in from the back of dash or the inside lip where the door fits in to?

The GT style dash has the glove box screw into the back of the dash, they have folded edges that mount parallel to the face of the back of the dash. You use small self tappers.
