But then again, think how many times you see pictures from club events, any club, where the cars are all in a line heading down the road. That being said, sounds like they were running too close together. Maybe pretend racing...

Article says they were moving between 80-100 mph, so yeah, sounds like they were 'enjoying' their cars........ 'were' being the operative word in this case.

Fortunately everyone walked away unscathed, which is a testament to their design and undoubtedly is a result of the manufacturers' racing experience. Crumple zones seemed to have worked nicely, as indicated.

The first company I worked for that issued cars to field employees had us in to HQ and there were these lovely new Ford Consuls lined up. We were allowed to choose the color by seniority, and the top guy chose the only white one [I was way down the line and left with "navy surplus blue."] We all drove away and he wrecked his on the first corner.

Driving 80-100 mph in the rain, one car spins out, the rest pile on. Strange that a supercar would be subject to the same laws of physics as an ordinary POS!
