Front Suspension Top Link

The Question: Are the top Links of the front suspension interchangeable from passenger side to driver side?

The details: I have a messed up front suspension. It has been determined that the "Subframe" or "Crossmember" is bent to the point that it needs replacing. I have in my possession a used replacement front suspension. My intention is to rebuild the replacement parts this summer whilst still enjoying the car. Then this fall, the old parts would be removed and the rebuilt parts installed. The reason for the question about them being interchangeable is that the replacement front end has some welding repair to one of the Top Links, and I would prefer to use another. Also, the front end is apart and the two top links look supplied look identical, and I would hate to rebuild two lefts or something daft.
Any advice is greatly appreciated as always.
Thank you,
Rob
