I finally ended this project. I have a new luxurious pleather interior now! If only I had carpet...., but next I think will be the hard top which I have been dreading. Anyone found early series rear windows that fit correctly? I don't think it will be fun to try to make one of those.

Thanks Kelly. Those are junkyard miata seats with fairly inexpensive iggee slip over seat covers. It made the car look 100 times better. Once I get around to carpet it will seem like a new car.

I did the same with Ol' BLue, by '67 Alpine Series V. I also put the same type seats and seat covers in my V6.
