Crank Shaft

Have a 67 that needs a crank shaft...can anyone help me find one!!

Unless your crank is real bad like other than/ in addition to spun number 3 rod, Standard Crankshaft in Charlotte NC can fix it. Last one I had fixed there was $125 to spray up #3 and turn the crank.

Depending on what is wrong with your crankshaft, you might be able to do a Chevy connecting rod conversion and still use your crankshaft.

This topic is only a bit relevant but might give you an idea. Going this way would be more involved than just changing out the crank.

if your crank is to bad to repair Ohan Korlikian has one for about 75 bucks ... I think it can be ground

Dean, looking at your other post, it seems you are looking for ways to "improve" the engine. The Chevy rod conversion is one of the best things you could do. Results in a smoother, more durable engine and REQUIRES the crank be ground down .125". If your crank is still in one piece, it will probably clean up.

But I'm not the guru on this. Get in touch with Jim Stone (Jim S). He's done it and likes it.
