convertible roof

I bought a new convertible top for my 64 sunbeam alpine manufacturered by Robbins. To my dismay when my husband went to put it on there was no instructions. It seems they do not want anyone but a professional installer to install said top. I don't know why it should be so difficult but of course we want to do it right but don't feel that we should have to have someone else install it. Has anyone else ran into something like this and is there a place to get the instructions? Bev

Also, I seem to remember a reference to a Tech Tip on one of the Tiger sites that also provided detailed installation instructions, but have not been able to find it. Maybe someone else has it save or has a link to it.

Hi Bev, I've got a copy of instructions from another member here on the forum, it's pretty long if you've not found it elsewhere send me your e-mail and I'll send it to you.
I haven't used them to put a top on but they seem to be complete, along with some experienced do's and dont's.

I believe he means the old topic in this forum that I referred you to that includes the instructions. ... The "thread" (or topic) that I referenced.
