Well Google does it again. Has anyone had any dealings with this guy, he has a boat load of tools some for sale and some for rent. Check out his new batch of Rootes Churchill tools. He is looking for help in sorting them out in other words finding there intended application. He says he will not sell them but is going to offer to rent them. I am going to buy his Hub puller 18G363 unless someone here wants to talk me out of it. If he is on the up and up he would be a great asset to us all.

Hi,

Thanks for posting the link. I noticed he is asking for ideas for service tools, and was thinking some tyre valve removers and the oil filter removal tool (as in our WSM's) maybe even reproduce some of the Rootes tools he aquired.

Regards, Robin.

It sounds like he is open to any good ideas and looks to have the skill to make special tools a reality. I will let you know how his hub puller is. He has lots of references saying good things about him. It sounds like he sells on e-bay?

Yes, he is a good guy and very helpful, and is open to suggestions. I've toyed with the idea of having him reproduce our vinyl tool pouches, which he says can be done quite easily. When Churchhill tools come up for sale on ebay I usually send him the link so he can bid.

Rob has been running this business for some time; I bought tools from him I couldn't locate anywhere else. Plus he's a very knowledgable machinist. Great to work with; I'd recommend him. (Advantage for me: he's local.)
