I've rebuilt my 5" booster twice, and its leaking again. Cleaning up the bore each time seems to be taking its toll, with the mileage between rebuilds dropping fast.

I've read that re-sleeving the cylinder is a 'fix-it-for-good' solution.

What exactly is involved and approx. how much should it cost?

I sent my entire booster and bracket to White Post Restorations. It came back in a few days with brass inserts, rebuilt, powder coated and guaranteed for life. And since it cost me $400.00 I'm planning on taking good care of myself.
