booster-less brake questions

Is the Nissan master shorter than the stock unit? I have the usual clearance issue when running Webers.

There are no check valves and no splitters. No one has ever demonstrated the need for either. The master cylinder that most have used is the 1977 Nissan F10. It will fit with a minimum of aggravation.

Why bother swapping masters when the SII master is the perfect application and can be rebuilt for around ten dollars? I run the early masters on all series and toss(now sell)the boosters.

well.... if I am due for a rebuild, and can get a tandem for just a couple bucks more, with the added safety of separate front/rear lines it seems like a good investment. I may, or may not, change my SII instead of rebuilding.

The PRIMARY reason for my inquiry along these lines is to make the change in a 1997 suzuki swift, which has a tandem setup with booster. I'd like to ditch the booster, but retain the tandem output for safety and ease of hooking to existing system. In the case of converting to electric , it will be good to go boosterless if possible because the alternative is buying and installing a vacuum pump, reservoir, and switch.... which takes time, space, and money.

...you guys in the Beamer forum are so well versed in this, my hopes were that either v-6 conversion guys or people upgrading boosterlesss to tandem boosterless would have some ideas!

thanks
