Good call, I just noticed the black paint on the underside of the hood and sheet metal in front of the radiator. The rest of the engine compartment is body color.

For a Series 1, the bonnet comes up 'way too far.

Looks like some selective updating and personalizing but nothing too awful or uncorrectable. Find a good mechanic to look it over.
