I am used to the Balancers on my 1962 Chrysler big blocks...they have rubber in them & need rebuilding when I go through a motor.
Are the Alpine balancers solid OR do they also need rebuilding / replacing?
Thanks!

I've a couple of the early Series I / II engines. I'll have a look tomorrow and see what I can find for you.

They crack in the keyway because they don't tighten the crank bolt down enough and the rubber goes bad too.

I've never come across a pulley where the rubber has gone visibly bad. Can the pieces actually separate or is it just a whole lotta shakin' goin' on?
