Thanks Bernd, I wasn't sure anyone was actually viewing these postings due to lack of comments.

I would have liked to see more pictures of the Commer pick-up. A good reference for size would have been welcome, also.

Might be an interesting vehicle. Definitely unusual.

Indeed. Interest in those "special" Rootes vehicles is growing. After many years of focussing on Alpines & Tigers we see an increasing number of Huskys , Humbers, Imps , Hillman's & Venezias, etc. popping up over here in Germany. Several under restoration by fellow club members. Are we getting more adult nowadays , or do we just fancy those rare breeds :rolleyes: ? Hmm...

Good stuff. Rootes had quite an empire of brands and relevant for a long time. I saw several references to cars from Portugal in there too. Interesting.
