After 10 + hours of driving through sideways rain finally made it back w/o any problems except 2 inches of water IN the car....(I think Allan had more)

Glad you made it. Probably would have 3" of water without the masking tape!
We made it without a drop of rain. Even had the top down for a while. Had a terrific tail wind though. I think we must has gotten almost 40 mpg! About 350 miles (don't know exactly) on less than ten gallons. If we only had a sail!

You are exactly right Bill, I would have liked to taped booth sides, every time I looked over there, what a difference. Thanks !
