As per a suggestion from my last post I contacted Rob Martel for some patch panels for my Hard Top, the following is his response....

You are foolish to use the Sissy Alpine Organised Collection of A$$holes club for a reference with me! It was with great pleasure that I paid the scrap man to take away that specialised tooling and remaining parts to salvage. The parts were acclaimed to be of the best Quality, but the clientele were sub-standard. Contact Paul "The Calendar Girl" Breuhan for your custom fabrications! He has not accomplished much in his time other than use others people's cars for his calendars, but he sure can sling the horsepucky!
Being a business that recylces, we converted the knives in our back from that club of "Know It Alls " into nails for the Alpine replacement parts Coffin.

Martel is banned from this website. I don't know the details. We did gave him "free" advertising from the beginning and years ago I heard he was complaining about the ad size (?), or something about the ad that "we" created for him. Complaining about free stuff doesn't help relations much.

Who is paul? I will assume paul did the ad for martel and everything disintegrated from there.... bygones.

That sure is uncalled for. He did not even know you. Ask the jerk about all the parts he got from a vendor in exchange for sheetmetal parts he never delivered. Poor business man.

Call Garth Bowie in Presscott Az. He builds impecable parts and is a nice guy. You will have to provide the old parts for a pattern. He might be able to help. I don't know his number but these guys had him build a hood they might have his number. You will see him on their vendor list.
