if you have the plexiglass ones made by amco they do not fit series 3,4 or 5. they were made to be used on series 1 and 2 only. the windshield frames are different on later series and they also have the wing windows. the aftermarket wings have to be mounted inside the car on the flange on the windshield frame. with the window down and only having the stub on a series 1 and the narrow window guide on series 2 you can then swing the wings out to deflect the air. impossible to do on later series cars due to the door wing window.
