Why does all my fluids disappear over winter?

Every spring I take the SV out of the garage and both the clutch and brake master cylinders are dry and both systems need to be bleed. Once done both are fine all summer with no loss of any fluids.

The cold is probably causing the rubber seals to shrink. The fact the systems need to be bled indicates fluid is leaking out at the "business end", not the master cylinder.

Loosing fluids

I would think that given the length of winter and the comparable length of the " driving season" you would expect to see fluid loss while the car is out of storage too and in use.

I would encourage you to check fluids more often during the driving season.

There should be some telltale sign somewhere if the reservoirs are dry in the spring.
