Has anyone mounted a set of 165-13's on 5-1/2" rims? (Stock steel rims are 4-1/2", right?)

Did the tires look too narrow for the rim?

Would really depend on the "165" depending on how the edge of the tyre rolls to the sidewall and the sidewall profile it could either look ok or look like the rim lip is too proud. I think a rounded profile tyre edge and more bulbous sidewall would be ok.. But a 175 is probably a better bet.

Yes. Any picture of my orange car wearing alloy wheels has 165-13's on 5.5" wheels. I thought it made the tire look bigger
